Got some downtime. If you can call it that.
Gotta figure out where to go and what to do next. Everyone's taking a bit of some personal time it seems. Gryllis is working on the ship and other technical projects. Rohan and Davin are looking for jobs and what not. Cham is learning how to do some mechanics on the side, Byssig... yeah that one seems up to no good on most days. Me? I'm training with the Holocron and ... well, I decided to head back to that mining center.
I'm going to hide that red crystal there; somewhere deep and far from searching eyes. I can't keep this up. It's starting to blur the line between me and it, and that scares me more than anything else I've ever faced J. I know I'm rough on the edges, but I've always been there to help the little guy. Stand up to the slimeballs. Knock the assholes down a few pegs. But this thing? I dunno, it warps me somehow. I might be strong physically, but mentally, I'm getting beat up.
I can't ask the others to hold it... they'd just have to go through the same thing I am going through. And I'd hate to see any of them turn into something they've never been. Something they never should be. When I first held that thing, I figured it was just full of some kind of energy. Adrenaline. Something hyped up ya know? I knew that feeling. I could handle /that/ sort of thing. But it's far, far more than that.
If we can't control it, then we shouldn't have it.
No one should.
So I took it to the cave and chucked it down the mine shaft.
Hopefully that bit about it coming back to him over and over was just a bit of crazy from Mathias. I mean, rocks don't move of their own free will. Right? That's crazy.
*Alert Alert Alert*
Crap! Warnings going off. We've got Imperial ships moving in... which means we need to get the hell off this rock.
